LeBron James leads small forwards in NBA 2K18 rating
LeBron James reclaimed his status because the consensus prime player in basketball immediately after the 2016 Finals, and it appears like he’s held onto it through the 2017 season in to the offseason, at the very least in NBA 2K18’s eyes. The official 2K18 account revealed the league’s small forward rankings Tuesday on Twitter and James is at No. 1:
LeBron lands first among compact forwards and amongst absolutely everyone in the league at 97, although Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard had been nipping at his heels at 96 and 95 respectively. It’s just a little surprising to view James as high as he is offered that he’s getting into his age 33 season. But he also is often a robot who doesn’t seem to age in any way beyond some nicely publicized hairline concerns.
This pretty effectively may be the last year James sits in the best spot for the league, though. If he regresses at all, the other people on the list are either in their prime or continuing to acquire much better, and his margin, at the very least with regards to 2K, is closer than ever. For now even though, James continues to be the top rated dog.
